Motiva Enterprises LLC, a joint venture between Shell Oil Company and Saudi Refining Inc., refines, distributes, and markets oil products in the eastern and southern United States. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Motiva refines and markets gasoline more than 7,000 Shell-branded gasoline stations.
Company assets include three refineries with a combined capacity of 725,000 barrels per day and ownership interest in 46 refined product storage terminals with an aggregate storage capacity of approximately 19 million barrels.
Motiva Enterprises LLC is currently seeking a Capacity Assurance Manager for its Port Arthur, Texas location.
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities :
In this position, you will be responsible for managing an operating department, which includes unit specific operations, maintenance, and technical activities in accordance with all site policies and strategies. You will also provide site-wide leadership for various activities. You will be accountable for building a sustainable performance in HSSE, reliability, and unit costs, by developing people, building management systems, making key decisions, using Enterprise First Values and Behaviors, and incorporating best practices.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver the business plan with strong emphasis on HSE performance
- Develop, coach, administratively manage and supervise the department staff and operators
- Motivate personnel to close performance gaps through recognition and celebration of successes
- Implement GAME work processes, especially ESP, RCM, ME, as they apply to operations
- Develop and maintain unit and maintenance strategies to provide long term equipment and system reliability
- Develop and support projects and turnarounds as required
- Utilize cross-functional resources, such as OEMI and systems teams, to assure support function plans are integrated into operational area
- As a member of Production Leadership team contribute in developing and implementing site wide improvement initiatives
- Fulfill Refinery Duty Officer role on an as needed basis
- Fulfill emergency response role as required
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Requirements :
To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) and have approximately 10 or more years of relevant professional experience. You will have significant manufacturing experience including technical, operations and/or maintenance assignments. A proven track record in site manufacturing jobs including operations and / or maintenance assignments is required.
