Job Description: Purchasing Officer – Accommodation Our client one of the leading multinational banks in the world is currently looking for Purchasing Officer in Dubai. The main responsibilities would include co-ordinating the accommodation requirements of all incoming senior executives of the Bank including school admission for their children, contacting incoming executives directly and arranging import of their personal effects/pets etc, maintaining contact with various school managements to arrange school admissions. Managing furnishings of all Executive accommodations provided by the Bank and maintain up to date inventory records for furniture/ equipments etc. organizing purchase of furniture, household equipments and internal furnishings etc, co-ordinating the order placement and distribution of staff uniforms. The candidates must have house keeping knowledge & Administrative skills gained through a minimum of one year’s experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writ ten to enable effective communication with staff at all levels. Educated to a degree level (candidates with lesser qualification may be considered depending on the level of experience and other skills). Good interpersonal skills and proven records of tact and diplomacy in dealings with people along with good negotiation skills would be an added advantage. British nationals (ladies) will be given preference. An excellent package of AED will be provided to the right candidate.
