You will coordinate the delivery of data management services and projects related to exploration and geological well information. As well as managing our exploration and geological well data, you will need to help improve the information provided to the geoscience and petroleum engineering disciplines, planning appropriate action in close cooperation with the business. We will expect you to develop and maintain the strategy for well data in EP Europe (EPE), to contribute towards the regional EPE information and data management plan, and to ensure the proper execution of this plan. Your role also involves supervising and mentoring staff in the provision of data management services, supporting the asset teams in achieving their data management targets, and promoting information management services throughout the subsurface community. In addition, you will need to:Â - Define, maintain and implement data standards whilst implementing our global information management processesÂ
- Collaborate at EPE and global levels to share best practice and identify opportunities to align activities and services
- Contribute to the migration of subsurface data to a standard global data management architectureÂ
- Maintain good communication channels with the customers in the geoscience and petroleum engineering disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS: Requirements :Educated to degree level, you will have extensive experience in the EP industry with significant experience in an information or data management role. Up-to-date project management skills are essential, PMP is preferred, and you will have a good knowledge of exploration and development processes, workflows and software applications such as OpenWorks, SeisWorks, ARC GIS, PowerExplorer and Recall. We will be looking for experience of working virtually with colleagues from other regions and from a central office together with excellent communication, leadership and engagement skills. Maintaining and auditing risk management process and procedures, youâll develop and implement concepts for easy access and reduced user complexity of Health Risk Assessments (HRAs).
